Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for sales and marketing pipeline contribution through a mix of inbound lead follow up, prospecting, and qualification activities over a variety of media (phone, email, and social media). This role is fast paced, high energy and thinking on your feet is essential. You will be responsible for the cultivation of more than 600 Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) at any given time making it critical that you be organized. You will make 35 to 45 calls per day to mid-sized and large-sized enterprises with deal sizes ranging from $10K to $5M. This position reports directly to the Director of Demand Generation and is located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying inbound marketing qualified leads to produce a consistent flow of opportunities for the sales team
  • Identifying prospective customers’ needs and propose relevant next steps
  • Articulating Apstra Intent-Based Data Center Automation benefits on the phone and in email
  • Arranging teleconferences between prospective customers and sales

Tradeshow & Field ABM Marketing Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, executing and measuring Apstra’s participation in tradeshows, field events, webinars and account-based-markering efforts globally. Responsibilities: 

  • Set, lead, plan & drive the company’s global tradeshows, field events, webinars, and account-based marketing efforts.

Requirements:

UI Engineer

Apstra is looking for UI engineers to work on our growing platform. Our core product is an infrastructure management tool that allows networking architects and operators to design, deploy, validate and operate large network infrastructures end-to-end.

Engineering challenges include building UI forms, visualizations, and interactions that will simplify complex Network operation workflows for the end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Working with product management and back-end engineering teams to define how new features will work from the UI perspective based on user stories and available API definitions
  • Implement new features in ClojureScript and re-frame
  • Working with testing teams to optimize UI for testing automation
  • Optimize UI architecture and UX to work well for large scale deployments and growing amounts of real-time data

Requirements

Must

  • Recent experience working with ClojureScript or experience building front-ends written in a functional style and willingness to learn ClojureScript

Senior Systems Engineers

We are seeking Senior Systems Engineers to work with our advanced customers across the globe in this highly technical role. This is a very visible and key position within this rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

As an Apstra Senior Systems Engineer you will be the technical side of the Sales team, both an expert and visionary in the field. You will be responsible for educating customers, understanding their technical & business issues, managing their deployment and development projects, providing support, and helping to develop and refine its innovative solutions. You must have strong communication skills for customer presentations, industry events and providing a feedback loop to Product Management.

Duties Include:

  • Analyze customer network infrastructure for potential opportunities to demonstrate our solution’s unique capabilities
  • Work independently to evaluate prospective customers’ networks and deliver the appropriate evaluation, ROI, savings, proposed operational evolution and associated process management
  • Work closely with Sales and Engineering to resolve technical issues that arise during customer testing and demo creation
  • Create compelling test plans, demos, and customer presentations
  • Drive improved testing, demos, deployment, architecture, monitoring and reports leading to compelling pre-sales support for sales organization
  • Participate in internal projects that help scale the group, implement best practices, and improve our methodology and quality of performance testing

Requirements:
A strong technical knowledge of datacenter networking is crucial as is hands-on experience with automation as it relates to networking devices.

  • BS degree in engineering, computer science or similar relevant field or equivalent
  • Deep technical knowledge of datacenter network architecture, SDN, and large-scale private cloud networks. Knowledge of IBNS is a plus.
  • Experience with network technologies (routing, switching, automation, systems management, troubleshooting and architecture) including knowledge from the application layer down to the physical layer
  • Proficiency in configuration and troubleshooting common network vendor solutions with Cisco, Arista, Cumulus, Juniper and Snaproute a plus
  • Knowledge of automation technologies including Ansible playbooks, Chef recipes, Puppet, Python scripting and JSON programming is preferred
  • Experience using network management and troubleshooting tools
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Join our Advanced Solutions Team

Responsibilities

  • Obtain requirements from customers, either directly at customer site, or indirectly via customer enablement team
  • Discuss and refine customer requirements with customer / customer enablement
  • Implement new AOS reference designs per customer requirements, including blueprint data modeling
  • Implement various plugins for new reference designs, including but not limited to those for blueprint building, expectations rendering, anomaly generation, configuration rendering, API
  • Implement any new platform capabilities needed to complete new reference designs. These may include new telemetry data collection plugins, support for new device platforms, creation / enhancements of on-box or off-box device agents, resource pool management agents
  • Implement and maintain unit tests and integration tests for all of the above
  • Implement and maintain system tests involving virtual and physical devices for all of the above

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python programming or a similar language; if different language, must be able to pick up Python quickly

Senior System Test Engineer

 

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Apstra is looking for Senior System Test Engineer to be part of Apstra engineering team. In this role, you will interact with developers and product managers to validate, test and improve Apstra Intent-Based Networking and Analytics product.

Responsibilities

  • Test software product to ensure it operates as defined by requirements
  • Build network configurations to model well-optimized network designs
  • Plan, develop and execute automated and manual test plans
  • Provide constructive feedback, report issues and interact with developers to deliver superior product quality
  • Review requirements from the Product Management team
  • Utilize available network troubleshooting tools, including network packet captures, monitoring devices, log files, and customer input to facilitate effective issue resolution

CRM Administrator (Hubspot)

Job Description:

● The CRM Administrator has primary responsibility for the administration, operational health, and support of the Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system at Apstra. This role is the technical lead for all things Marketing Automation and CRM, takes data quality extremely seriously, and will be the trusted partner for the Sales, Marketing, Support, and Finance teams. The candidate should be an advocate for the CRM within Apstra and help us to increase its reliability, and appropriately expand its use.

● Develop technical strategy for reliability, availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, and security enforcement. Work with security and compliance team on ensuring a stable, fault tolerant, and highly secure platform for critical business data. Establish/refine policies, processes, and procedures related to maintenance, update, upgrade, integration, and development of the CRM application and environment.

● Collaborate with other departments to architect and implement high-quality technical integrations with other Business Applications (such as quoting, subscription management, support, marketing tools, FDW, etc.)

● Oversee relationships with related vendors and hosting providers, enforcing support expectations, reviewing the results of security audits, and implementing recommendations for improvement.

● The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate about supporting successful business outcomes, and have experience developing CRM techniques to execute on marketing and sales strategies.

Location: Austin, TX or Menlo Park, CA

Primary Duties:

● Operational and strategic proficiency with HubSpot is a must. You’ll monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives as they relate to quota and company goals, including the accurate analysis of customer acquisition, bookings, recurring revenue, customer satisfaction and more.

Implement best practices for marketing automation for our high-tech enterprise software sales environment.

● Manage daily technical IT operations related to CRM system support. Work with the cloud CRM vendor to plan for and arrange CRM changes, upgrades, data migration, or downtime as necessary and proactively communicate them within our organization.

● Serve as lead technical role in user creation, system integration, enforcing appropriate access credentials, and drive break/fix issues to timely and successful resolution.

Work with data appending vendors and make recommendations for additional tooling to add for accelerating engagement, account identification, pipeline acceleration, ABM, multi-touch attribution, etc.

● Create and maintain internal documentation and records related to the CRM system. Educate the organization on the capabilities of Hubspot.

● Maintain singular focus on data cleanliness and integrity. Establish the CRM as a single source of truth for customer data, which can be reliably used by business applications across the company. Oversee correctness of marketing and sales data, and propose steps to improve them. Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of the CRM system and all data within it.

Create and maintain metric reports and dashboards on marketing and sales activities for measuring their effectiveness and business impact

Collaborate with our BDR and SDR (inside sales) teams, building views and reports to help them see their most valuable leads and be as efficient as possible

● Liaise with both technical and functional staff to plan, deploy, and support new CRM functions and related tools, systems, and campaigns.

● Support inbound Marketing efforts by implementing requested configuration changes, and by monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Assist the Marketing team in establishing KPIs and creating dashboards to visualize data around campaigns and initiatives.

● Support Sales Operations by monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of sales teams, creating reports to organize data by territory, team and person, and present data related to sales accomplishments.

● Support Finance team by creating financial reports, dashboards, and projections that measure the outcomes of sales, bookings and revenue, along with SaaS subscription metrics.

● Serve as technical lead on subscription management, quoting, and other tool integrations with the CRM.

Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.

● Oversee relationships with vendors, be primary technical point of contact, enforce SLA, support expectations, and information security requirements.

● Respond to inquiries and requests from users for technical CRM-related assistance, and manage / escalate support process with appropriate vendor as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

● Excellent troubleshooting techniques related to software and IT systems, including the ability to demonstrate effective and timely problem-solving skills.

● 3+ years experience administering Hubspot within a technology company.

● Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Strongly collegial, professional, positive, and effective in working with others at all levels.

● Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to problem resolution. Ability to interpret and follow instructions.

● Above average collaboration skills and proven track record of executing successful cross-functional projects.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

● Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

● Demonstrated experience leading a large scale implementation, migration, or deployment of an enterprise-wide CRM system

● Experience working in a fast-paced, quickly growing technology startup

● Hands-on experience / certification as Salesforce Administrator

● Experienced in data visualization, turning complex information into compelling presentations

● Strong business strategy and analytics skills, with an advanced understanding of success metrics

● 2+ years of work experience in digital marketing or sales operations, including hands-on experience with associated tools.

● Financial analysis and modeling skills to justify business cases through ROI analysis
