Inside Sales Representative

Full Time | Preferred Central or Mountain Time Zones

The Apstra sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Representative whose primary responsibility will be to find and qualify top of funnel data center network management/automation opportunities in the Western and Central USA regions. We’re seeking a person who is eager to join our energetic sales team and be a significant contributor to exceeding revenue targets.


  • Work closely with 2 regional sales managers/teams
  • Qualify inbound inquiries to schedule and conduct discovery calls
  • Qualify prospects to uncover specific needs and business/technical pain points
  • Prospecting into existing and new customers to expand Apstra’s relationships
  • 30+ targeted outbound calls per day
  • Utilize email and digital selling techniques
  • Grow customer base by working with existing contacts
  • Continue to gain industry knowledge via sales and technology training
  • Work with Apstra partners on sales enablement and joint sales efforts
  • Consistently achieve or exceed activity and sales goals
  • Learn and utilize Apstra’s internal CRM systems and sales tools
  • Must be able to work remotely from home office with phone and internet access


  • 3+ years IT networking software sales experience (data center network knowledge a plus)
  • Strong selling skills
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and innovative with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and/or Microsoft 365 Office apps.
