Product Manager for Apstra Intent-Based Networking

Job Description:
Apstra is looking to hire a passionate product manager focused on the product strategy and features development of Apstra AOS Intent-Based Networking product. The candidate must have a strong technical networking background and ideally experience with network automation technologies in the domain of data center, WAN, enterprise campus, wireless, or cloud networks.

As a key member of the product management team, you will work very closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and technical field to ensure timely planning and flawless delivery of product planning, management, and execution to accomplish product goals, product leadership, and competitive product differentiation. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, channels, and e-staff to meet and exceed product bookings targets
  • Contributing to the product strategy and positioning to establish competitive innovation advantage in existing and new markets
  • Building roadmap and defining feature priority to achieve the sales and strategy goals
  • Defining end-user focused and technical feature requirements in the form of a user tutorial document
  • Working directly with customers and sales engineers to understand customer use cases and analyze new product requirements
  • Contributing to sales enablement including presentations, tools, content, collateral, and information used by sales, partners, and customers
  • Collaborating with marketing to define components of product launches, announcements, and marketing campaigns
  • Presenting to customers, and industry leaders, and speaking at industry events


  • At least 4 years of product management experience in innovative software products
  • Strong technology background with a passion for technology details
  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, especially in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working in a dynamic, change-intensive environment, while delivering consistent operational results
  • “Roll up sleeves and do what it takes” attitude
  • Strong team player not afraid to present new, creative ideas
