US Regional Account Manager

Full Time | Remote

  • Ability to explain a hard concept in a simple way
  • Knowledge of working on complex technical solutions including calling on key decisions makers and all other technical and business influencers
  • Ability to quickly understand if the opportunity is valid
  • Ability to articulate how we solve the customer’s pain
  • Strong solution selling skills in networking and /or complex sales skills that required them to touch more than one group within the customer organization
  • Experience in successful account management including forecasting, quota over achievement, sales presentations along with the short term, midterm and long term opportunity management
  • Ability to work with the product engineering team to explain customer requirements
  • Aggressive self-starter with the ability to build relationships with technical teams, procurement staff, and executive sponsors

Technical Knowledge Needed:

  • In-depth knowledge of network design and deployment best practices
  • Fluent in networking terminology
  • Recent experience with leaf-spine architecture
  • Knowledge of Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, Junos OS and Cumulus
  • Possess technical acumen in one of the following areas: SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Network Virtualization

Experience Needed:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent  in addition to 5+ year of successfully selling network hardware or software
  • Previous employment at large switch manufacturer (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Dell Networking) or network software management software
  • Proven track record of direct selling into target account within an assigned territory and exceeding targets
